As the UK's export credit agency, UKEF plays a crucial role in supporting UK exporters, international project sponsors, and buyers of UK goods and services.
We can support companies large and small across a range of sectors with their exports, from capital goods to services and intangibles such as intellectual property.
In the year 2023/24, we provided £8.8 billion of support to UK exporters of all sizes, our activity supported a £3.3 billion contribution to national GDP to ensure companies can continue to trade and grow, and supported 41,000 jobs across the UK. Over half of the businesses we supported were small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and 80% of those small businesses which UKEF supported with a product were based outside of London.
